  1. Introduction: What are Irregular Energies?
  2. When something stressful happens in our lives, we count on our energies to react in ways that help us adapt. Sometimes these coping patterns can remain locked in place past the time they are necessary. They can become counter-productive, and lead to irregular electromagnetic energies that are sometimes called “frozen,” “submerged” or “reversed.” When this happens, normal energy tests can give misleading results and therapeutic techniques can lose much of their effectiveness, so if you don’t know what to look for, you might miss that the energies are in trouble.

Irregular energies can occur in muscles, meridians, body energies, alarm and acupressure points, and even chakras.  Standard energy tests will frequently give false positives when irregular energies are present. However, there are specific energy tests that test for irregular energies, so they are not hard to find if you know what to look for. Energy corrections that don’t hold can indicate you are working with irregular energies, as can poor results with what you know to be an appropriate energy therapy. Emotional issues and counterproductive thought patterns that just don’t resolve regardless of the interventions can also be indicative of irregular energies.

  3. Nomenclature

It is important to understand exactly what we mean by the different terms relating to irregular energies. The following are some standard definitions to help us with the different ways electromagnetic energies can be irregular:

    1. Frozen:

    2. When electromagnetic energy is not flowing at all, the area in question can be said to be frozen. Electromagnetically, this can be shown by using a magnet to test. When both sides of the magnet test the same (either strong/strong or weak/weak), there is no real energetic movement in that area, and it can be said to be frozen.

  4. Reversed Polarity: When the electromagnetic energy of an area tests directly opposite of what it should be, the area is said to have reversed polarity. This will be indicated with a magnet test when the area that should test strong on the south face of a magnet tests weak, and the area that should test weak on the north face of a magnet actually tests strong.

  5. Submerged: Energies are said to be submerged when they are no longer connected to indicator points, thus giving irregular electromagnetic tests at these indicator points, or no read at all. This usually happens with meridians.

  • Standard Procedures Before Testing for Irregular Energies
  • Make sure the person is balanced and their energies are not scrambled, homolateral, etc.

  • All standard procedures for energy testing (pre-checks, etc.) should be followed.

  • Check to make sure the person is not sensitive to anything in the treatment environment, such as fluorescent lights, electrical cords, etc.

  • Check to make sure that using magnets is appropriate.

  •

    1. Using Magnets in Assessment and Corrections

    1. Test for Appropriateness

  • Pre-test person by spinning magnet in their field and performing a Spleen Meridian energy test – if muscle stays strong then it is appropriate to use magnets.

  • If pre-test with magnet produces a weak muscle, then don’t use magnets at this time. Instead, use the polarity of the hand as your magnet treatment. The palm is South polarity and back of hand is North polarity.

  • Because magnets can scramble a person’s energies if they are not strong in their presence, repair any scrambles before moving on. Perform daily energy routine to correct, and check if the person is homolateral. Correct for that, if necessary.

  •

  • Polarity of Magnets
  • The north side of magnet should test weak, as it draws energy towards it, and away from the muscle being tested and all of the extremities. The north side of a magnet takes away pain and sedates, and works well on the area of pain or below an injury.

  • The south side of a magnet should test strong, as it disperses energy, so moves the energy towards the muscle being tested, and spreads the energy in all directions away from the magnet. The south side amplifies energy and makes things grow. Never use it on a painful area; place it above (towards the head) the pain.

  •

  • Use of Magnets
  • Do not use if a pacemaker is present.

  • Do not use over womb during pregnancies.

  • Never use the south side of a magnet over infection, swelling or tumors.

  • Do not put the south side of a magnet against the back or spine, as this can cause severe stomach aches and indigestion, among other things.

  • Do not use the south side of a magnet on people with diabetes.

  • Limit the use of the north side in one place for about12 hours, and south side for short spurts of time (5 to 10 minutes, initially. Area will energy test weak when the magnet is no longer working).

  • If magnets have been used, it is always wise to check for homolateral patterns and scrambled energies at the end of the session.

  •

    1. Irregular Energies of the Body
    2. The body’s energies can become irregular when we are under stress of any kind: physical, energetic, emotional, or mental. This means that the north and south poles of our body’s energies are no longer clearly north and south. This polarity is part of the mechanism that helps energies to flow in and out of our field as needed, so that when the polarity is disrupted, energy flow is hampered at many levels.

      1. Test for Irregular Polarity of the Body’s Energies:

      2. To test the polarity of the body’s energies, place the palm of your hand on the person’s head and energy test. Then, place the back of your hand on the person’s head and test. The following are possible results of the test and what they mean:

    1. Normal Polarity: palm of hand on head tests strong, and back of hand on head tests weak.

    2. Reversed Polarity: palm of hand tests weak and back of hand tests strong.

    3. Disrupted (frozen) Polarity: palm of hand and back of hand both test the same, either strong/strong or weak/weak.

  • Corrections for Irregular Polarity of the Body’s Energies:

  • Regardless of the type of polarity irregularity found, the corrections are the same. They include:

    1. Spooning the Feet: use a stainless steel spoon and rub the bottoms of the feet.

    2. Walking in wet grass: walk barefoot in wet grass (energy shoots up Kidney Meridian, is metabolized by Spleen Meridian and taken by Bladder Meridian to the nervous system).

    3. Sit with your back to a tree:  the tree connects the flow on governing meridian and takes that energy down the roots of the tree into the earth and then up again into the body, creating an impulse that stimulates the radiant circuits internally and externally, including the “radiant circuit loop” around the front and back of the body.  This looks like a Ferris wheel and helps stabilize the energies in this new pattern.

    4. Gait Reflexes: Vigorously work the gait reflexes on the tops of the feet.

    5. Spinning over Meridian Ends: spin a magnet or crystal over the beginning and ends of every meridian.

    6. Tape the north side of a magnet under the arch of the foot.

    1. Irregular Energies in the Meridians
    2. The flow of energy in the meridians can become irregular in many ways. This can include deeper or slower than normal flow, reversed flow, or altered electromagnetic charge. Fortunately, testing for this can utilize many of the standard meridian tests. Specifically, we will use the meridian muscle energy test and the alarm points test.

      1. Muscle-Based Energy Tests:

These tests apply to both a general “indicator muscle” energy test and the 14 individual meridian muscle-based energy tests. The results of these tests can show irregular energies in the associated muscles, which must be corrected before the muscle can be used to energy test the meridian. The tests include:

      1. physical problems with the muscle

      2. “too rigid” muscle strength during an energy test

      3. pinch test (unable to produce a weak muscle response when the muscle is pinched)

      4. magnet test (will show either frozen energies or reversed polarities in the muscle, itself)

      5. if stretch at the ends of the muscle fail to produce a strong energy test

    3. Muscle-Based Corrections:

    4. It is important to note that not only will the following corrections balance and improve energy flow to the affected muscles; they will also open and improve flow to the related meridians and body organs:

      1. massage affected muscle

      2. pinch and stretch affected muscle

      3. tap affected muscle with hair brush

      4. spin magnet or crystal over affected muscle

      5. use the energy test for that particular muscle as a treatment (will have “How To” slide)

How To: Using the muscle-based energy test as a treatment:

    1. Place a magnet in the belly of the muscle being tested and perform the muscle test in the usual way with the person resisting for 10 seconds.

    2. Turn the magnet over and repeat the test, holding the resistance for 10 seconds.

    3. Turn the magnet back over and repeat the test, but push in the reverse direction of the original test, holding for 10 seconds.

    4. Turn the magnet and repeat, pushing in the reverse direction of the original test for an additional 10 seconds.

      1. Alarm Point Test:

      2. This test will specifically show when a meridian is submerged or the electromagnetic charge is off in some way. Meridians themselves rarely completely freeze; there is always some energy flowing in them while we are alive.

However, alarm points are connected to the meridians via the Radiant Circuits, and when the Radiant Circuits are not flowing well, the connection between the alarm point and the meridian is weakened and the meridian can detach. Hence, when a meridian submerges, it detaches from the alarm point and creates an inactive, or “frozen” alarm point.

This test would be indicated if one gets an apparent positive test with the alarm points which seems suspect (does not match physical or emotional symptoms, etc.). The test is done with a magnet on the alarm point, as follows:

        1. magnet test each alarm point

        2. alarm point is frozen when test results are strong/strong or weak/weak

        3. this indicates that the meridian is submerged and has detached from the alarm point giving the point no electromagnetic read, thus “freezing” it

        4. it can also indicate that the electromagnetic charge in the meridian is off in some other manner such as at acupressure points. Additional test to help to determine this are covered later.

      3. Alarm Point Corrections: Single Alarm Point Frozen
      4. any anchor and wander technique on any radiant circuit will correct the alarm point disconnect, and the anchor point can be the alarm point.  Sometimes this is a quick fix and you don’t have to keep wandering.  Sometimes it takes longer.

      5. place a circular magnet with a hole in the center on the alarm point.  Insert a metal object through the hole.   Hold for about half a minute.  Flip magnet.  Again, insert metal object through the hole and hold for another half minute.

      6. sedate, strengthen, and balance the related meridian using the first pair of acupressure sedating points, then the first pair of strengthening points, then the 2nd pair of points.

      7. trace or flush related meridian (with hand, crystal or magnet).

      8. spin magnet at both ends of related meridian, or over the alarm point.

    1. Alarm Point Corrections: All Alarm Points Frozen
    2. check for reactive energies and correct (see below).

    3. do Belt Flow and then TW/Regulator Technique (“Cover the Eyes” exercise – see below)

    4. Do Separating Heaven and Earth

    5. use Star Diagnostic to determine, via element test, which element contains original problem, and make individual meridian corrections as above.

    6. if Star Diagnostic does not show anything, try Starfish Connection and work with control cycles.

How To: Checking for Reactive Energies

    1. If any irregular energy situation is indicated, it is possible that the person’s energies are reactive.

    2. To test for this, have the person being tested place the pad of one thumb flat against the middle segment of the ring finger (TW), and energy test. If a general indicator test shows weak, there is a reactive energy somewhere in the body.

How To: Correcting for Reactive Energies

    1. One way to correct for reactive energies is to use the Triple Warmer Reactivity Pose: place the thumb over the index fingernail; place the other fingers on the main frontal neurovascular points; do this with both hands and, sitting comfortably, hold 1-2 minutes.

    2. Retest for reactivity.

    3. This correction may not be strong enough to correct if the reactivity is locked into a muscle.

    How To: Cover the Eyes

(also known as TW/Spleen/Regulator Balancing; activates radiant circuits, calms TW, energizes spleen; do this 4 or more times/day to really work at sedating TW and strengthening Spleen)

    1. Place thumbs over index finger nails and hold “oh my God” points on the forehead with middle, ring, and little fingers until you take a deep sigh, yawn, or feel a release.

    2. Cover eyes with fingers. Inhale. Exhale.

    3. Inhale with eyes still covered. Exhale while dragging fingers across eyes and out to temples.

    4. Inhale while dragging fingers up over ears, and exhale while dragging fingers down behind ears to shoulders. Hang fingers on shoulders at neck.

    5. Cross arms, placing fingers on opposite shoulders. Inhale, smoothing hands down arms to forearms. Exhale.

    6. Inhale, place hands flat across ribs under bust area.

    7. Exhale while sweeping fingers down legs and off feet at toes.

    8. Inhale while sweeping fingers back up legs to under arms.

    9. Exhale while sweeping fingers down and off body at side of waist.

      1. Acupressure Point Tests:

If irregular energies are suspected in the meridian, based on observation or energy tests (alarm points, etc.), it is possible that the problem lies in the individual acupressure points and the meridian’s relationship with these points.

    1. magnet test each acupressure point

    2. acupressure point is frozen when test results are strong/strong or weak/weak

    3. this indicates that the meridian is submerged and has detached from the acupressure point giving the point no electromagnetic read, thus “freezing” it

  • Acupressure Point Corrections

  • spin magnet or crystal over frozen acupressure points.

  • hold north side of magnet over point for 10 seconds, then south side of magnet over point for 10 seconds.

  • Place magnet on point and insert metal object through hole onto point, hold for 10 seconds. Turn magnet over and repeat. Can use other objects through the hole based on Five Element model, as well.

  • Meridian Flow Issues:

  • The most likely irregular flow issue with the meridians is that a meridian flows backwards. As we know, simple exhaustion can cause this, as well as stress, etc. The standard test and correction for this follow.

    1. Flow Reversal test: have the person walk forwards and test, then walk backwards and test. If the meridians are flowing forwards, the person will test strong on walking forwards and weak on walking backwards. If the test results are reversed, all or many of their meridians are probably flowing backwards.

    2. To correct for this, vigorously work the K-27 points and retest.

    3. If this is a frequent occurrence, check the person for being homolateral. It may indicate the need to test for the other meridian energy irregularities discussed earlier.

    1. Chakras:

The chakras, like the meridians, technically never “freeze;” they will always spin while we are alive. However, their spin can become irregular enough that they can lock up and appear frozen. The more appropriate term however, is to say that the chakra is locked. This can be tested as follows:

    1. Test for Locked Chakras

    2. energy test chakras, and if arms seem “too rigid” then chakra may be locked.

    3. magnet test chakra.

    4. chakra is locked when test results are strong/strong or weak/weak.

    5. if all chakras test locked or are all weak, the problem may originate in the root chakra, and correcting there first will unlock all the others.

    6. The chakras may also be locked if pushing on the glute muscles is painful or if the Circulation/Sex Meridian tests weak.

  • Correction for Locked Chakras

  • Because it is often the circulation that is locked up in the root chakra (whether it be physical, emotional, spiritual or mental), it is often necessary to sedate circulation-sex first to unlock chakras.

  • After that, spinning a magnet or crystal over root chakra to unlock and then retest all chakras.

  • if other chakras still locked, spin magnet or crystal over all chakras.

  • finish with regular cleaning and balancing of the chakras.

  •

  • Correction Issues and Advice: In working with Irregular Energies, one is frequently changing very old, entrenched patterns, and there is likely to be resistance to the work and difficulty in holding the new patterns. The following suggestions can help.

    1. Always test for reactive energies and Triple Warmer issues, and address those prior to making corrections.

    2. During a session, there are techniques that can be used to stabilize the shift after the corrections have been made (“How To” follows).

    3. Whatever techniques were used to help stabilize the shift during a session can be given to the client as homework.

    4. If corrections don’t hold, or the problem repeats several times, may be necessary to look at deeper causes, including:

      1. control cycle issues

      2. source points

      3. seed cells

      4. problems in related meridians (Flow Wheel or Five Element)

      5. emotional issues

How To: Helping to Stabilize a Shift: Any of the following techniques can be useful in helping to stabilize a shift after corrections have been made.

    1. Figure 8 over the problem point or entire meridian path.

    2. Stretch your body in every way you can.

    3. Cross your body in every way you can.

    4. Tap one end of the meridians and breathe deeply.

The following are for stabilizing more difficult pattern shifts:

    5. Smooth behind the ears and hang on the shoulders (making Triple Warmer feel safe).

    6. Lightly comb the meridian backwards three times with the backs of the fingers, and then trace the meridian firmly and slowly forward once with the full hand.

    7. Flush the meridian.

    8. Trace all 14 meridians (per the 24 hour clock) that follow the problem meridian.

    9. Test for over-energy in the meridian and sedate, if present.

    10. Hold the beginning and ending points of the meridian until pulses synchronize.

    11. Sit with your back to a tree:  the tree connects the flow on governing meridian and takes that energy down the roots of the tree into the earth and then up again into the body, creating an impulse that stimulates the radiant circuits internally and externally, including the “radiant circuit loop” around the front and back of the body.  This looks like a Ferris wheel and helps stabilize the energies in this new pattern

At the end of the treatment, the person should do “Taking Down the Flame” Exercise to connect all the chakras and create the movement necessary, and then stabilize it & help the body adapt to a new healthy pattern with a Wayne Cook posture, hooking up and tapping it in with assurance at the 3rd eye.
